stairway to heaven

 Sicily under snow...
leading where? Cassadaga? Sure!

MADRE mia

sudden lights (or on the way to Chiaia)

we didn't manage to reach Chiaia (or part of lungomare, I checked that out last year - but since it was also December there was nothing - guess summer means more fun around here) as we were so hungry that we stopped to eat in expensive and not to classy place on the way (what did we eat, pizza, what kind of question is that?!). Chocolat cake was AMAZING, thou!
once we finished, wind was blowing so hard that not even Captain Cook would walk on any waterfront...
we went back to safe (really?) city streets and reach Piazza Bellini with amazing tea&cookies place.
Later we heard this band: nice performance!

thoughts about aperitivo.

my way back home with Francesca. we bought pear and once again she showed me the secret of aperitivo. she sprinkled parmigano cheese and lime (can be lemon, too) on pear and put raisins around. amazing sour and sweet taste!

this, on this photo, is sicily in the sunset.
heading there tomorrow.
